Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and support organizational goals. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation by facilitating clear communication and thorough analysis of data requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure data models meet both current and future business needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with organizational strategies.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Netezza.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing relational and dimensional data models.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data structures.
- Familiarity with database design principles and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data integrity and consistency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Netezza.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
