Job Summary
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Bedbank division. Acting as the face of HBX Group to our suppliers, you will manage a defined portfolio of hotels within a specific geographic area. Your role will focus on optimizing supplier performance, negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring strong relationships to maximize revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
- Lead contracting and negotiation processes with hotel suppliers in B2B and B2C environments.
- Secure competitive rates and favorable terms, including inventory, offers, release periods, and cancellation policies.
- Monitor hotel performance and collaborate with Yield Managers to ensure competitiveness and availability.
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Resolve major supplier or client issues, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Promote HBX Group´s’ value proposition and marketing tools to optimize supplier income.
- Analyze reports and identify opportunities to increase profitability and room night production.
- Represent HBX Group professionally at meetings, networking events, and trade shows.
Skillset and Experience Required
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio effectively.
- Proven track record of achieving results in contracting or account management roles.
- Knowledge of assigned destination and suppliers (minimum 2 years experience preferred).
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
