Overview:
Strengthen the quality support for TJX HKBO focus on quality administration and coordination. The responsibility includes maintaining quality document, liaise with service providers for regular updates, billing and quality activities reporting, vendor quality score card and performance management, vendor self-inspection program support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day quality activities and work closely with internal & external stakeholders
- Assist in maintain quality system and supporting documentation with a continuous improvement mindset
- Keep track on the inspection defect rates, identify recurring issues, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions with vendors
- Communicate quality checkpoints and any additional inspection requirements to different stakeholders as needed
- Support vendor/factory assessment and site visit to verify the compliance with expectation
- Liaise with vendors to communicate quality issues and ensure CAP actions are closed on time
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry quality best practice
- Responsible to prepare monthly quality related reports, including but not limited to vendor performance related reports, 3rd party billing report, quality assurance record retention, etc.
- Support Inspection processes and vendor training when required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years’ experience in the Retail, Sourcing and Buying Office, Testing, or Inspection Company
- Hands-on experience of apparel, home and consumer product quality and compliance
- Basic understanding of quality assurance processes, risk assessment, manufacturing processes, and factory inspection criteria is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of consumer goods categories regulatory & quality tools application, AQL, SPC
- Strong analytical skills, well-organized, able to work independently with positive and proactive attitude
- Advanced MS Excel skills that can be used to combine and analyze data from various sources, and generate reports and graphics to help drive decision-making
- Proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Mandarin & English a must
- Proven track record to work creatively and analytically to deliver results
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners
- Travel is required
