Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening operations, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail in a team-driven environment built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, freight, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support authorized access and proper movement throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
