The role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Datasphere Architect to design, develop, and govern enterprise-grade data solutions using SAP Datasphere within the SAP Business Technology Platform ecosystem. The role is responsible for defining scalable data architectures, ensuring governance and compliance, and enabling high-quality analytics and reporting solutions that support business decision-making.

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures and solutions using SAP Datasphere within the SAP Business Technology Platform ecosystem
• Define, document, and manage business and stakeholder requirements for reporting, analytics, and data delivery needs
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective architectural designs and communicate solution approaches
• Oversee and review SAP development work, ensuring dataflows, datasets, and pipelines comply with standards, governance, and best practices
• Enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies while optimizing datasets through assessment and rationalization of redundant or unused data
• Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines and platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices in data modeling, architecture patterns, and SAP Datasphere implementation across teams

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere and SAP BTP ecosystem
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and data modeling principles
• Experience in designing and managing enterprise-scale data pipelines and integrations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in cloud-based data platforms
• Experience reviewing and supervising technical development work in SAP environments
• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation or cloud migration programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud or related reporting tools is preferred.
• Background in enterprise data governance or master data management initiatives is also preferred.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments is also preferred.
