Syracuse Parking Services is now hiring enthusiastic and customer service-oriented seasonal Parking Staff for the 2026 New York State Fair from Wednesday August 26 - Monday, September 7.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing an exceptional guest experience to event attendees parking in the facility
- Partnering with police and leadership to direct traffic entering and exiting the lot in a safe and organized manner
- Answering guest questions and providing directions and information
- Using electronic ticketing equipment to scan and validate credentials and pre-paid parking tickets, as well as process the onsite purchase of parking tickets by credit/debit card.
Requirements
- Ability to perform basic math
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time in variable weather
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities
- Must be over 14 years old with proper working papers
This position may not accept tips.
