Meet the Team

Cisco is seeking a strategic, high-impact Senior Product Marketing Leader to define the narrative strategy and content framework for our global events and product launches. This team is responsible for amplifying Cisco’s Infrastructure and Security messaging, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality across all regions and channels. By partnering across Events, Product Management, Sales, and Regional Marketing, you will influence how Cisco’s innovations are presented on the world stage, setting the standards for storytelling and operational excellence at scale.

Your Impact

In this role, you will serve as the central driver for Cisco’s presence at major industry events. You will be responsible for the end-to-end content strategy, from defining key messaging to overseeing the execution of high-visibility launch payloads. Your work will involve:

  • Influencing the Infrastructure and Security content roadmap for the annual global event calendar.

  • Designing and implementing repeatable, scalable processes to optimize content development and readiness.

  • Orchestrating cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality presentations, demos, and event programming.

  • Establishing a curated, reusable library of gold-standard content assets.

  • Communicating strategic milestones, progress, and outcomes directly to executive leadership to support informed decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing or related fields.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a formal supervisory or people management role.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading end-to-end content strategy and execution for Tier 1 product launches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing marketing event content strategy, development, and delivery.

  • Documented experience developing executive-level messaging and delivering presentations to C-suite stakeholders.

  • Deep subject matter expertise in Infrastructure and Security technology markets.

  • Proven ability to design and optimize operational workflows that support large-scale, concurrent event portfolios.

  • Strong background in cross-functional leadership, with the ability to drive accountability and results through influence without direct reporting authority.

  • Experience in building and maintaining centralized content repositories to drive global consistency and reusability.

  • Demonstrated success in translating complex technical innovations into compelling, market-shaping narratives.
