Ensures the appropriate movement of people, materials, equipment by all modes of transport to support the needs of the business and customers. Includes defining movement support strategies and associated operating models; ensuring continued connections with business partners for movement demand planning; managing, enabling, and improving internally supported movement  processes; identifying and selecting external suppliers and assuring their performance; and managing related support infrastructure such as shorebases, heliports, airports, technologies, etc.

Responsible for overseeing all warehouse, logistics, transportation, customs clearance, and inventory management activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of raw materials and finished products. Manages the receipt, storage, and shipment of resin, pipes, fittings, equipment, and other materials via rail and road transport, while maintaining accurate inventory records and customs documentation.

Leads warehouse operations, including loading and unloading activities, coordination of transportation, operation of lifting equipment, and management of warehouse personnel and contractors. Ensures compliance with safety standards through the development of procedures, employee training, and supervision of safe work practices.

Accountable for inventory control, stock accuracy, warehouse assets, and reporting activities, including monthly reporting and participation in stock-taking processes. Coordinates closely with Production, Marketing & Sales, customers, customs authorities, and logistics providers to support business operations and customer deliveries.

Supervises a team of employees and contractors, allocates work, ensures required certifications and training are maintained, and oversees the operation and maintenance of warehouse facilities, storage areas, rail infrastructure, forklifts, cranes, and material handling systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Logistics planning, transportation, customs clearance, and export documentation.
  • Warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Staff supervision, training, and workforce coordination.
  • Customer and stakeholder coordination for product shipments.
  • Oversight of material handling equipment, storage facilities, and rail operations.
  • Financial control of logistics and contractor-related invoices and services.
  • Management of warehouse operations, rail transportation infrastructure, resin storage systems, forklifts, cranes, and temporary storage facilities.
  • Supervision of approximately 5 employees and contractors.
