Redwood Strategy Group (RSG) is seeking Navy ERP financial systems and sustainment professionals at multiple experience levels to support a new Department of the Navy financial management initiative. Selected candidates will support Navy ERP sustainment, financial data reconciliation, audit readiness, organizational realignment, reporting, system improvements, and end-user support.

Positions will be aligned to candidates’ experience in financial management, business systems, data analytics, project management, change management, or emerging technology.

Primary Responsibilities

Depending on experience and assigned role, responsibilities may include:

  • Support Navy ERP ECC financial operations, sustainment, and audit readiness.

  • Research abnormal balances, transaction errors, interface issues, and financial data discrepancies.

  • Reconcile legacy financial data and reports with Navy ERP data.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions for data-quality and system issues.

  • Support financial statement validation, internal controls, audit response, and remediation.

  • Assist with Navy ERP organizational and master-data changes associated with command reorganizations.

  • Support updates to organization codes, fund centers, cost centers, UICs, business areas, plants, activity rates, WBS elements, networks, and related structures.

  • Coordinate personnel, payroll, labor, travel, procurement, asset, and financial-system dependencies.

  • Support Navy ERP testing, mock events, system changes, and validation of migrated or converted data.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, reports, and analytical tools using Navy ERP data and platforms such as Advana/Jupiter.

  • Develop business rules, standard operating procedures, job aids, and localized training materials.

  • Prepare variance analyses, mitigation strategies, corrective action plans, recommendations, and leadership briefings.

  • Maintain project schedules, plans of action and milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reports.

  • Collaborate with Navy financial managers, system owners, functional organizations, auditors, and other contractor teams.

  • Support occasional onsite meetings, testing events, or mission requirements outside normal working hours.

Experience Levels

Candidates may be considered at one of the following levels:

  • Junior/Staff: Familiarity with Department of the Navy processes preferred. Experience supporting financial operations, data analysis, business systems, or Navy ERP is desirable.

  • Level II: At least three years of progressive, relevant experience.

  • Level III: At least six years of progressive, relevant experience, with the ability to work independently and provide direction to project teams.

  • Level IV: At least nine years of progressive, relevant experience, including approximately six years leading complex workstreams or related projects.

  • Subject Matter Expert: At least 15 years of relevant experience and recognized expertise in Navy ERP, financial management, accounting, business systems, organizational change, data analytics, or a related field.

  • Program Manager: At least nine years of relevant experience, including four years managing business consulting, financial management, process improvement, or comparable engagements.

Work Location and Schedule

Work is expected to be performed through a combination of telework, contractor facilities, and Government sites, predominantly within the National Capital Region. Candidates should be available for onsite meetings and mission support when required. Core working hours are generally 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Telework and specific work schedules are subject to project approval.
