Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol and Badge Services in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to assist employees and visitors while contributing to a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
