At Clearfork Academy, we provide high-quality substance abuse and mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. We're looking for a personable, adaptable, relationship-focused Territory Outreach Specialist who enjoys connecting with professionals, building meaningful referral relationships, and representing an organization with purpose.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys variety in their day, communicates with confidence, and can balance relationship-building with organized follow-through. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to different personalities and environments while remaining professional, compassionate, and focused on Clearfork Academy's mission.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with referral sources and community partners
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for regional referral sources and professional organizations
  • Build business-to-business relationships through strategic outreach, marketing initiatives, and community engagement
  • Identify and prioritize key referral accounts and communicate opportunities and challenges to the Director of Business Development
  • Develop new relationships with physicians, therapists, educators, hospitals, churches, EAPs, unions, and other organizations
  • Conduct community outreach through presentations, meetings, networking opportunities, and one-on-one relationship building
  • Represent Clearfork Academy professionally at community events, conferences, and other networking opportunities
  • Assist with planning and executing events that highlight Clearfork Academy's services
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Director of Admissions to support the admissions process
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Clearfork Academy's programs, services, mission, values, and referral process
  • Communicate the organization's services and strengths clearly and professionally to community partners
  • Stay informed about trends and developments related to mental health and substance use treatment
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy meeting new people and building genuine professional relationships
  • Are energized by variety and don't want every day to look exactly the same
  • Communicate naturally through conversation, persuasion, and relationship-building
  • Can adapt your communication style to different personalities and professional settings
  • Are comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Enjoy finding creative and innovative ways to connect with potential referral sources
  • Can balance flexibility with the ability to follow through on commitments and organizational expectations
  • Remain professional, composed, and personable when faced with challenging conversations or high-pressure situations
  • Are empathetic and naturally consider other people's perspectives and needs
  • Can confidently represent an organization both inside and outside the facility
  • Enjoy working in a less rigid environment where priorities may change throughout the day
  • Are motivated by goals and take ownership of building and maintaining your professional relationships
  • Have the ability to recognize opportunities and pursue new partnerships
  • Find purpose in helping adolescents and young adults access quality behavioral healthcare

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, recruitment, business coaching or consulting, communications, or a related field
  • Experience developing professional relationships and community partnerships preferred
  • Basic knowledge of substance use disorders and addiction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain self-control in challenging or high-stress situations
  • Proficiency with PC and Mac software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of adolescent and young adult development
  • Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, diversity, self-awareness, and continuing education
  • Ability to represent Clearfork Academy positively and professionally in the community

Why Clearfork Academy?

  • Meaningful work that helps adolescents and families move toward recovery
  • Opportunity to build relationships throughout the community while making a direct impact
  • Mission-driven organization focused on adolescent behavioral healthcare
  • Collaborative leadership and business development team
  • Variety in your day-to-day work with opportunities to network, present, and develop new partnerships
  • Opportunity to develop professionally within a growing behavioral healthcare organization
  • A role where your communication, creativity, relationship-building, and initiative can make a lasting difference
