HealthOPM is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join a welcoming retirement community in the Huron County (Goderich area). Location: Huron County, Ontario (Goderich Area)
Pay: $32.00–$34.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time & Casual Opportunities Available

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards of practice.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
- Assess, monitor, document, and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical concerns and emergency situations.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting high standards of resident care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, infection prevention and control (IPAC), and health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the past 12 months).
- Current TB screening/clearance.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a retirement community, long-term care, or seniors' care setting is considered an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
