In this role, you will influence cross-functional teams to deliver program hardware on time. In order to succeed, you will manage supplier relationships, assess and report manufacturing capacity and readiness, gain visibility over sub-tier supplier performance and constraints and help suppliers influence their sub-tiers to resolve issues affecting their deliveries.

You will also need to hold internal teammates accountable to action plans, using influence and interpersonal skills to achieve priorities across other departments.

Required technical skills include reading blueprints, understanding S-1001 quality requirements, common industry spec requirements, and manufacturing methods.

The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

This role is based in Evendale, Ohio within the Manufacturing Engineering / Supply Chain execution ecosystem. The Supplier Fulfillment Leader works across GE Aerospace teams and external suppliers to ensure program hardware is delivered on time, with clear visibility to supplier capacity, readiness, and sub-tier constraints. The role partners across engineering, sourcing, quality, planning, and supplier operations to remove barriers to delivery and improve supplier performance.

Role Overview

The Supplier Fulfillment Leader influences cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver program hardware on time by driving disciplined execution to action plans and holding stakeholders accountable. The role develops strong supplier relationships, assesses manufacturing capacity and readiness, increases visibility to sub-tier constraints, and helps suppliers drive resolution through their own supply chains.

This position requires hands-on technical understanding of manufacturing and quality requirements (including blueprint reading and key specifications) and the ability to communicate clearly to internal and external leaders. The role operates with some autonomy within standard functional practices and procedures, using judgment and technical experience to address more complex supplier and part constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Delivery Execution: Drive supplier execution to meet hardware delivery commitments, ensuring on-time delivery of program parts and assemblies.
• Supplier Relationship Leadership: Form and sustain strong supplier relationships at the company level, building strategic partnerships with external vendors to improve performance and responsiveness.
• Capacity & Readiness Visibility: Assess and report supplier manufacturing capacity and readiness, including visibility into sub-tier constraints and recovery actions.
• Action Plan Governance & Accountability: Organize and lead on-site and offsite meetings with internal and external stakeholders to create action plans, assign owners, and drive accountability vertically and horizontally across companies and functions.
• Internal Stakeholder Alignment: Influence and align internal teammates across engineering, sourcing, quality, and planning; hold teams accountable to action plans and commitments.
• Part Number (PN) Commit Ownership: Own part-level commits and improvement plans using order book reviews; identify and execute recovery actions for PN/supplier constraints.
• NPI and Change Execution: Drive execution of NPI, design changes, and transition plans with suppliers to ensure implementation readiness and delivery performance.
• Constraints & Lean Problem Solving: Apply lean problem-solving fundamentals to identify root causes, remove constraints, and prevent recurrence across interdependent manufacturing cycles.
• Raw Material Reviews & Data Integrity: Lead raw material reviews and ensure supplier data integrity to support planning accuracy and delivery predictability.
• Performance Management & Reporting: Manage supplier performance data and enablers for on-time delivery, leveraging Supplier Expectations Performance Management (SEPM) and other reporting cadences.
• Executive Communication: Present project status, risks, and resource needs to senior internal leadership (including GM/VP level) to drive timely decisions and outcomes.
• Technical Execution in Manufacturing Context: Apply technical experience (blueprint reading, manufacturing methods, and specification awareness) to evaluate issues, recommend options, and support execution within standard work.

Required Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, or related supply chain experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, or related supply chain experience
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
