Job Description
As a Digital Content/Multimedia Team Lead, you will be a key differentiator. Our work depends on an experienced multimedia leader joining our team to guide the creative direction, production workflow, and technical execution of multimedia applications, systems, and products supporting internet‑based social media initiatives. You will oversee a team of digital content creators, manage end‑to‑end production processes, and ensure the delivery of high‑impact visual and interactive media that meets mission objectives at the customer site in Tampa, FL.

HOW A DIGITAL CONTENT/MULTIMEDIA TEAM LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Leads a team of multimedia designers and content developers, providing creative direction, coaching, quality oversight, and performance management.
Shapes and drives the creative vision for multimedia projects, ensuring concepts, storyboards, and final products align with mission goals and communication strategies.
Oversees all phases of multimedia production, including planning, design, development, editing, refinement, and final delivery across graphics, animation, video, text, and sound.
Makes strategic decisions on production approaches, media formats, and technology applications to maximize impact and effectiveness.
Ensures technical accuracy, functionality, and compatibility of multimedia products across platforms and emerging technologies.
Implements production workflows, assigns tasks, sets timelines, and ensures smooth coordination among team members and cross‑functional partners.
Evaluates and introduces new creative tools, production software, and digital technologies to enhance multimedia capabilities.
Performs quality assurance reviews to validate adherence to standards, brand consistency, and mission requirements.
Collaborates closely with mission leadership, communication specialists, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and refine creative solutions.
Oversees the documentation of production activities, design notes, and multimedia development files in accordance with program standards.
Supports operations that require flexibility, including nonstandard hours, on‑call availability, and occasional travel.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Experience: 7+ years of related experience, including demonstrated experience in multimedia team leadership, production management, or technical oversight.

Security clearance level: Minimum SECRET clearance required; select positions require TS/SCI eligibility.

Skills and abilities:
Creative leadership and vision setting for multimedia initiatives.
Strong production management skills, including workflow coordination and quality control.
Technical proficiency with multimedia design software, animation tools, video editing platforms, and interactive media systems.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into multimedia production.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work nonstandard hours and remain on‑call during required periods.
Some travel may be required.

Location: Customer Site (Tampa, FL).

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
