Specialist, Enterprise FP&A

Eaton's Enterprise Finance organization is seeking a Specialist, Enterprise FP&A to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. If candidates are not located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH relocation may be considered. This position will operate on a hybrid work schedule from Beachwood, OH.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

## What you’ll do:

This position supports operational and strategic decision making by providing senior leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and insights into the drivers of key financial metrics. Key responsibilities include reporting and analysis of company financial information, including monthly forecasts, actual results, annual profit plans, and cash flow performance metrics.

This position collaborates closely with Operations Finance teams and other corporate finance functions to support financial reporting, forecasting activities, executive communications, external reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively are essential for success in this role.

In this function you will:

• Manage the monthly financial reporting process to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality financial information to the Chairman and CEO, CFO, VP and Controller, COOs, and other senior leaders. Prepare and validate monthly reports while ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• Partner with Operations Finance teams to analyze business results, forecasts, annual profit plans, cash flow & working capital, and other key financial metrics. Communicate business drivers, risks, opportunities, and variances to support Senior Management's understanding of company performance.
• Prepare presentations and supporting analyses for the Board of Directors (BOD) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), providing insights into company performance, forecasts, and progress against plan.
• Prepare high-quality analyses and supporting materials for external reporting requirements, including earnings releases, investor communications, quarterly earnings presentations, webcasts, 10-Q and 10-K disclosures, and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A). Collaborate with Technical Accounting and Sector Finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
• Prepare analyses and reporting related to cash flow, working capital, and other enterprise performance metrics to support forecast reviews, management discussions, and executive presentations.
• Prepare and review ad hoc analyses for the CFO and other senior finance leaders to support business decisions and emerging issues.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, analytical tools, data quality, and reporting efficiency. Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with business partners on implementation and enhancement efforts.
• Support departmental goals through participation in special projects, process improvement initiatives, training activities, and resolution of financial reporting and data-related issues.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

• Solid Finance / accounting background, and broad business experience
• Technically proficient in Oracle Solutions, Power BI and other AI tools
• Knowledge of Eaton’s corporate structure, operations, accounting and financial policies, and financial performance metrics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with all levels, functions, and personalities within the organization, including Executive Management and Sector Finance.
• Excellent analytical skills to determine “root-cause” issues and to develop and recommend best possible resolution
• Able to prioritize multiple requests and / or issues and multi-task to resolve the issues while meeting all stated deadlines within very short turnaround time conditions
• Manage workload with a sense of urgency, personal ownership, very high standards of customer support, and a constant focus on system data integrity, and flawless product quality
• Creativity, vision, and strategic thinking to help solve business challenges are essential
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across a global organization, with the ability to adjust communication style to regional norms
