As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. Pay Rate: $23.49 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
