Job Description

Your future team 

You will be part of our central ITQA team — a community of QA professionals working together to continuously improve quality practices across the IT organization. 

In your daily work, you will be embedded in one of our agile development teams, where you share responsibility for the quality of that team's product throughout its entire lifecycle. You will act as the team's quality advocate while also contributing to the evolution of QA engineering across the wider organization. 

 

What you'll do here as QA Engineer 

We build and operate software that supports some of our most critical business processes and user-facing services. Delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality software has always been essential — and as the industry evolves, so must the way we approach quality. In this role, you will drive quality both within your development team and across the IT organization, with a real opportunity to influence how we work with quality in the years ahead. 

• Drive Quality Engineering – Take ownership of quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to production and continuous improvement 

• Shape the Future of QA with AI – Explore, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools and practices that improve testing, automation, defect detection, risk analysis, and engineering productivity 

• Build Modern Test Solutions – Design, implement, and maintain effective quality strategies using exploratory testing, automation, API testing, UI testing, integration testing, and AI-assisted approaches where they create value 

• Influence our QA Strategy – Help define how QA Engineering should evolve by experimenting with new technologies and transforming successful ideas into sustainable ways of working 

• Coach and Collaborate – Work closely with developers, Product Owners, architects, and fellow QA engineers to foster a quality-first culture where quality is built into the product 

• Improve our Engineering Practices – Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, development processes, and engineering efficiency 

 

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for someone who takes strong ownership of their domain and naturally drives quality forward. You enjoy solving problems, challenging established ways of working, and continuously learning. You take initiative and suggest solutions to improve — not just pointing out issues but always bringing ideas to the table. 

You are structured in your approach, communicate clearly, and understand both the technical and collaborative aspects of software quality. You are curious about emerging technologies and excited by the opportunities AI creates — not because it is a trend, but because it can help us build better software. 

To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 

• Solid experience in software testing and a deep understanding of agile development 

• Experience testing complex systems, including API, integration, and UI automation 

• Strong programming skills and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript 

• Experience working with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines 

• A genuine interest in AI, Large Language Models, and how they can be applied to software quality and engineering 

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken 

Bonus points if you also bring: 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience 

• Swedish language skills 

• Experience coaching or guiding colleagues on quality practices and ways of working
