As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and common areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior through visible presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
