We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Thailand team. This role will be based in Bangkok. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Compensation Consulting Analyst, you will support client projects by analysing financial and compensation data, preparing market comparisons and assisting with client-ready materials. You will work closely with more senior consultants to deliver accurate analysis, clear exhibits and well-documented work that supports client discussions and reviews.
We will count on you to:
- Analyse client financial and compensation data against market benchmarks using Excel modelling and structured approaches
- Validate market data with colleagues and ensure client specifications are accurately applied
- Prepare clear exhibits that compare market compensation data with client data for client meetings and senior consultant review
- Research public filings and other sources to gather financial and market data, and develop peer groups for benchmarking analysis
- Use Mercer’s in-house technology and other proprietary tools to run reports and extract data for analysis and deliverables
- Assist in preparing client presentations and reports by converting Excel analysis into PowerPoint slides
- Support seminar and workshop logistics and materials when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of methodologies, data sources and assumptions
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, finance or consulting, with recent graduate’s welcome to apply
- Well-developed analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis to colleagues and senior reviewers
- Willingness to learn, follow established methodologies and respond well to feedback
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesise information from public filings, market reports and proprietary data
- Client-service orientation and professionalism in dealings with internal and external stakeholders
