The Destruction & IP Collection Coordinator, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will execute the secure collection, inventory, and destruction of intellectual property materials across labs, manufacturing spaces, and storage locations. The Coordinator maintains chain-of-custody documentation, verifies security controls, and coordinates with engineering teams and third-party vendors to ensure full compliance with ITAR and export control regulations. Additionally, this role will support inventory tracking systems and assist with audit preparation to uphold operational integrity and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Execute daily collection routes, safely and securely transporting IP materials from labs, manufacturing spaces, and storage locations.
- Conduct physical inventory counts at secure storage locations and verify asset tracking records at secure storage locations.
- Support and help execute local destruction events, including onsite shredding and coordination with vendor-managed destruction services.
- Verify that security controls at collection and storage sites remain consistent with policy and report and document any discrepancies.
- Coordinate secure storage, shipping, and receiving activities with third-party vendors, ensuring full compliance with internal security requirements, ITAR, and export control regulations.
- Assist in scheduling and logistics planning for destruction events that involve multiple internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain close, ongoing coordination with engineering teams to track hardware status and confirm destruction readiness.
- Support inventory tracking system updates at collection sites.
- Assist with vendor coordination for both domestic and international destruction events.
- Prepare materials, records, and documentation packages in advance of audits and compliance reviews.
- Escalate security concerns, control failures, or process deviations promptly to the Destruction Manager.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a security field, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, preferred, with a minimum of two years of experience in physical security, inventory management, warehouse operations, or secure logistics handling sensitive or controlled materials.
- Familiar with export control compliance including ITAR, EAR.
- Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience, preferred.
- TAPA certification or similar secure logistics credentials, preferred.
- Able to safely operate a box truck to transport materials between Everett, WA and Redmond, WA sites as needed.
- Familiar with inventory management systems and asset tracking tools in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology environments.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
- Client orientated and results driven.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
