Clinical Dietitian General Posting-Completing or New Grads WelcomeThe Clinical Dietitian is an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, responsible for providing patient-centered nutrition care and supporting positive health outcomes. This role involves assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, monitoring and evaluating patient progress, and communicating results appropriately. The dietitian utilizes current evidence-based research and clinical guidelines to deliver high-quality care while considering each patient's unique cultural, social, and health-related needs.
In collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the Clinical Dietitian helps coordinate care, establish priorities, and meet deadlines to ensure effective patient treatment. The role also includes educating patients, families, caregivers, staff, and community members through individual and group programs that promote health and wellness. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential, as the dietitian works directly with diverse patient populations and actively contributes to improving community health outcomes. Bronson is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Clinical Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based nutrition care that positively impacts patient health outcomes across diverse populations. Working closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, you will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, provide education, and support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.

What You'll Do
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will:
- Assess patients' nutritional status using anthropometric, biochemical, laboratory, and clinical data.
- Identify patients at nutritional risk and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify interventions based on clinical outcomes and changing needs.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based nutrition recommendations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff through individual and group education programs.
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care through follow-up recommendations and communication with providers.
- Utilize electronic medical records to document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and care plans accurately.
- Apply current nutrition research, guidelines, and best practices to clinical decision-making.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, compliance activities, and community wellness programs.
- Promote culturally sensitive, patient-centered care that respects diversity and individual needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Master's degree required for candidates obtaining Registered Dietitian credentials in 2024 and beyond, in accordance with current credentialing requirements.
- Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program, including:
- Dietetic Internship Program
- Individual Supervised Practice Pathway
- Coordinated Program
- Future Graduate Program
- International Dietitian Education Program
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Preferred:
- Previous clinical nutrition experience in an acute care, outpatient, or specialty setting.
- Specialized certifications or progress toward certifications related to area of practice, such as CDCES for Diabetes Education.
- Experience with nutrition-focused physical exams, motivational interviewing, and medical nutrition therapy.
