💲 Pay Range: $18.45 - $19.00 per hour

Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you will help provide a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for our residents by performing laundry and housekeeping duties in accordance with facility standards and infection control guidelines.

Essential Duties

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.

• Maintain all linens in good condition and remove items with stains, tears, or excessive wear.

• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.

• Label new residents' clothing and personal items as necessary.

• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.

• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.

• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.

• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.

• Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.

• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• One (1) year of laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
