Caterpillar’s Medium Wheel Loader business, a part of the Earthmoving Division within Construction Industries, is hiring a Global Value Stream Manager.

Role Summary: In this role you will manage a global value stream organization, supporting strategic business decisions related to Medium Wheel Loader products and services, utilizing the Operating and Execution.

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

Product Availability Leadership

• Manage global portfolio of products, ensuring execution of regional configuration strategies
• Develop and execute global availability and inventory stocking strategy
• Effectively manage global price list changes

Product Solutions Leadership

• Develop, execute, and manage global work tool strategy for Medium Wheel Loader business
• Develop, execute, and manage global tire strategy for Medium Wheel Loader business
• Execute regional technology deployment plans

Cross-Functional Leadership: 

• Take the lead on high-value projects, guiding cross-functional teams to success.
• Be the driving force behind achieving growth targets, ensuring product offering and availability is aligned with commercial organization partners.

• Establish, nurture, and sustain robust working relationships across our diverse business partners.
• Foster an environment of collaboration and trust, where strong relationships are the foundation for achieving common goals.

What You Have (Core Skills)

• Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
• Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
• Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of ""big picture"" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
• Producing Results: Understanding of the criticality of getting things done despite current circumstances and the ability to utilize assigned resources and leverage cross-functional resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.
• Knowledge of Customers: Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information.

• Work location: Peoria, IL

• This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F)

 

 

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
