- Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd available
- Schedule: Varied
- Hours per week: Varied - Per Diem

Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologists to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a Per Diem basis. The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns.
- Position patients accurately to obtain quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with quality assurance activities and departmental improvement initiatives.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation. as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin.
- CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
- Self-motivated and able to be flexible.
- Ability to problem-solve and function independently.
- Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.
- Must adhere to established to regulatory agencies, Beloit Health System, and department policies, rules and regulations.
- Reporting Relationship: Clinical Manager of Medical Imaging. Clinical advisement is received from the Radiologists
