Senior Manager Product Life Cycle Management (PLM)
The Senior Manager PLM is accountable for defining, governing and evolving PLM‑related R&D processes, system capabilities and data requirements to enable scalable product lifecycle management. The role connects process needs, platform capability, controls and data standards so PLM solutions remain practical in execution and fit for future transformation.
This role focuses on PLM platform and system capability by its direct accountability for shaping how the platform should work. Success requires strong integration of business process, platform, data and transformation viewpoints.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Science, Information Systems, Operations. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 8 years' experience with PLM systems, platform governance, R&D process design or related digital transformation work.
Demonstrated success using workflow controls, data requirements, platform integrations and quality/compliance considerations.
Experience serving as a business lead or subject matter expert in system change or transformation programs.
Experience influencing global stakeholders across business, data and digital teams preferred.
Ability to connect technical possibilities with practical business execution needs.
What would your key responsibilities be?
PLM Process & Capability Governance
Own the business requirements, controls, decision points and performance expectations for PLM‑enabled R&D workflows.
Ensure PLM capabilities support compliant, efficient and scalable product lifecycle execution across the function.
System & Data Design Integration
Define required PLM data objects, core controls, workflow needs and integration points with adjacent systems and data domains.
Partner with data stewards and technical teams to embed definitions, quality expectations and practical usability into the platform.
Transformation & Future‑State Design
Act as a senior business lead for PLM evolution and transformation activity, shaping target process design and capability choices.
Balance near‑term platform stability and business continuity with longer‑term, scalable design decisions.
Adoption, Governance & Support Model
Set governance expectations, adoption measures and training requirements for PLM‑enabled ways of working.
Partner with work systems and deployment teams to ensure new or changed capabilities land effectively and remain sustainable.
Performance & Simplification
Review platform‑enabled process performance, adoption trends and recurring pain points to drive simplification and continuous improvement.
Ensure system decisions remain anchored in real business needs instead of local or one‑off workarounds.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
