Position Title: Consumer Banking Group Product Manager
Business Unit: Retail Operations
Reports to: Director of Consumer Product Management and Strategy
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for the profitable management of consumer deposit (checking, savings, CDs) or credit products (home equity loans/lines, secured/unsecured installment loans, credit card/unsecured lines of credit) supporting multiple lines of business. The incumbent owns the bank product experience including product development, pricing recommendations, directing marketing campaigns, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsible for competitor analysis, bank product design and pricing to profitably attract new clients and expand existing client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Directly manage and develop Product Manager(s) reporting to the Group Product Manager supporting the consumer/loan products being managed.
Lead the development of product strategies and tactics to drive incremental, profitable household acquisition and deposit/loan products sales volume.
Monitor weekly sales results, competitive position, pipeline volumes and financial performance of consumer deposit/loan products.
Interact with Marketing, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Deposit/Loan Operations to maximize risk-based returns on consumer deposit products volume.
Ensure all aspects of consumer products end-to-end meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Monitor and direct changes to sales process and client service associated with consumer deposit/loan products.
Maintains strong relationship with Marketing, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Technology, Deposit/Loan Operations, and Retail Banking Executives/Market Managers in the field.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
