What You'll Do
As an Associate, you'll combine technical expertise, commercial acumen and client leadership to deliver high-quality building consultancy services while driving growth opportunities across the region.
Delivering technical building consultancy services including:
Technical Due Diligence
Building Condition Assessments
Asset Lifecycle Planning
Strategic Asset Management Plans
Capital Works Forecasting
Insurance Assessments
Make Good Assessments
Conducting building and asset inspections across Australia and New Zealand.
Preparing high-quality technical reports, recommendations and cost forecasts.
Developing scopes of work for repair, refurbishment, replacement and maintenance projects.
Managing projects from assessment through to delivery.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support retention and growth.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across existing and emerging service lines.
Collaborating with internal service lines to develop integrated client solutions.
Contributing to proposals, tenders and business development initiatives.
Supporting operational excellence, governance and quality assurance across projects.
Mentoring and developing junior team members as the Building Consultancy team continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a commercially-minded consultant who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for client service and business growth.
Essential Experience
Approximately 15+ years' experience within the property, construction or building consultancy sector.
Strong experience delivering building consultancy, asset management, engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying or related advisory services.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects from inception through to completion.
Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
Commercial understanding of project delivery, procurement and business development.
Experience preparing technical reports and presenting recommendations to clients.
Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
Qualifications
You will hold a degree in one of the following disciplines:
Building Surveying
Building Engineering
Services Engineering
Quantity Surveying
Construction Management
Or a related discipline
Professional accreditation such as RICS, AIQS, AIPM, CIBSE, Engineers Australia, CIOB or equivalent will be highly regarded.
