Description
Drive the adoption of advanced automotive power semiconductor solutions including Si, SiC, and GaN technologies. Work closely with leading automotive customers to enable next-generation OBC, DC/DC converter, and inverter applications through technical support, system evaluation, and design-in activities. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Provide technical support and design-in activities for automotive power semiconductor products (Si, SiC and GaN switches) in OBC, DC/DC converter, and inverter/motor control applications. Perform simulation and evaluation of power conversion systems. Collaborate with customers to debug hardware issues and optimize converter performance. Capture customer requirements, and serve as the technical interface between customers and global R&D teams. Coordinate application projects with product, system and application engineering teams. Deliver product trainings, technical seminars and application workshops to customers. Write technical application notes and technical papers. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Semiconductor, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive power electronics, semiconductor applications, or power conversion systems. Strong understanding of DC/DC converters, On-Board Chargers (OBC), and high-voltage power conversion topologies , as well as basic understanding on inverter/motor control systems. Hands-on experience in power electronics hardware design, debugging and system validation. Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSim, PLECS, SIMetrix, or equivalent. Strong understanding of semiconductor power devices including MOSFETs, SiC MOSFETs, GaN HEMTs and driver solutions. Experience with efficiency analysis, switching loss evaluation, thermal design, and reliability assessment. Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional global teams. Self-driven team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting automotive OEMs or Tier-1 customers. Familiarity with automotive standards such as AEC-Q101, ISO 26262, and CISPR 25. Experience with EMC/EMI troubleshooting and optimization. Knowledge of magnetic component design, including transformers and inductors.
