Your payroll expertise is the product. Most QA roles ask you to test what someone built. This one asks you to know payroll and benefits well enough to predict how it will break before the code exists. PrismHR is the HR, payroll, and benefits platform behind PEOs and ASOs across the United States, backed by Vensure Employer Solutions. Payroll is unforgiving — one mishandled deduction or multi-state tax scenario and a real person's paycheck is wrong. You will design and run test scenarios based on how people actually use the product, build realistic test data, own test strategy and risk on your projects, and report status clearly enough for release decisions. You will also raise the domain fluency of the whole QA team — which makes you unusually influential here.
You will need:
• • 2+ years of hands-on PEO, payroll, or benefits administration experience (a requirement, not a preference)
• • Solid QA practice: test case design, defect reporting, Agile testing
• • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause instincts
• • Clear written and verbal communication
• • Degree or equivalent experience
• • PrismHR platform experience
Nice to have: automation exposure, multi-state US payroll tax, open enrollment, HRIS or HCM platforms. The schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Time), Monday to Friday.
