Position: Administrator
Department: KYC Team-Japanese Corporate Banking Department
Job Purpose
We are seeking an Administrator to support customer due diligence and compliance related activities. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate customer information and documentation, monitoring review timelines, and ensuring that records are properly updated in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the GRO (Global Rollout) KYC (Know Your Customer) Manual, relevant internal procedures, and applicable KYC standards.
- Accurately update and maintain customer related party information in Core Banking System, ensuring data consistency, and reliability.
- Monitor KYC review schedules and due dates, and conduct timely follow-up with Relationship Managers, Market Support Staffs, the Treasury Team, and other relevant stakeholders without any delay.
- Support the preparation, collection, and review of KYC-related documents to facilitate smooth and timely KYC completion.
- Maintain the quality of KYC records and documentation in line with GRO KYC Standard and internal procedures requirements.
- Prepare materials for education, information sharing, training, and quality assurance activities as required.
- Prepare documents and reports required for GRA (Global Financial Crimes Assessment) and coordinate with relevant internal departments.
- Develop an understanding of banking business, products, banking operations, and relevant market/economic conditions to support effective KYC assessment and processing
- Prepare KYC-related documents and reports requested by relevant stakeholders for further processing.
- Provide administrative and operational support to team members, including support for urgent or ad hoc matters when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in banking, administration, operations, or a related field is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of customer due diligence, anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, or regulatory requirements are an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
