Management Level:
Class 1This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Role Overview:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
In this role you will:
Perform a wide range of mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment.
Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical trouble shooting and repairs on production and plant equipment.
Perform operation and maintenance of wastewater collection system, or wastewater pre-treatment system.
Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed.
Read and follow instructions and complete required paperwork.
Wear necessary safety equipment.
Read electrical schematics.
Work with hazardous chemicals.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Communicate effectively to all levels of team member including mgt.
Knowledge of control voltage, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3 phase wiring is helpful to perform repairs and maintenance on processing production lines and auxiliary equipment.
Wastewater experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able and willing to move from one area of production to another.
Must be able and willing to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
Team Member will stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility or working in unsanitary conditions.
Team Member will work in various temperatures ranging between 28 and 100 plus degrees.
Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their work area.

Qualifications:
Meet all specific job requirements.
Have a good work record (Disciplines: no written in the last 6 months, no written w/suspension in the last 12 months).
Have good attendance (4 points or below).
Must have completed the 90-day probationary period.
Applicants will be considered for maintenance level openings, and an offer will be determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
