DEPARTMENT: Structured Credit
In 2025, Blackstone established Brio Real Estate (“Brio”) as a portfolio company focused on real estate credit. Brio is a specialized global commercial real estate asset services platform that manages and supports Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies business (“BREDS”) across the globe. Today, BREDS has more than $77 billion in investor capital across high yield / opportunistic real estate credit funds, a publicly traded Mortgage REIT, CMBS securities and insurance capital. JOB SUMMARY
The senior professional would be leading a global platform dedicated to the Public Investments strategy in supporting the analyzing, underwriting, monitoring, and executing public real estate debt investments (CMBS, RMBS, and corporates). This role ensures seamless workflow integration across time zones, accelerates deliverables, and strengthens execution quality across global investment processes.
• Collaborate closely with Structured Credit leadership to support underwriting, surveillance, portfolio oversight and asset management responsibilities
• Serve as primary liaison ensuring continuity and optimization of investment workstreams across global time zones
• Provide high-quality analytical output and market updates to accelerate decision‑making
• Direct underwriting, credit research, risk identification, and preparation of investment materials
• Oversee portfolio surveillance, monthly remittance reporting, and quarterly asset review material creation
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with Brio standards
• Build a scalable operating model capable of supporting expanded responsibilities
• Partner with leadership to drive global alignment
(QUALIFICATIONS)
What you should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required; graduate degree preferred
• 10+ years of commercial real estate finance and structured credit experience
• Demonstrated experience partnering with global organizations, with a proven ability to set direction, develop talent, and cultivate a high‑performance environment grounded in productivity, collaboration, and continuous professional growth
• Strong communication skills for cross‑regional coordination
• Advanced underwriting, modeling, surveillance, and negotiation capabilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, globally integrated environment.
