Management Level:
Class 4This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Functions:
To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
Receive training as required.
Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
Tasks:
Must be able to identify package defects while keeping the area clean and clear of hazards at all times.
Ensure that the line has the correct Process Orders, Labels, Tubs, Lids and POD for the process order being run on the line.
Ability to sort and separate product by SKU # and label per Process Order.
Ability to change POD machine for each product.
Ability to adjust Label Machine for each product.
Ability to adjust case sealer for each product.
Read and follow specifications on Production Process Orders.
Correctly enter data into PlantView 2.0 for all required checks in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to adjust read and identify code date ink jet.
Lift and follow box diagrams.
Determine pallet stacking, layer quantity and stacking height.
Must lead by example.
Report any line or labor issues (including downtime) to the Supervisor immediately.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Set-up and teardown packer equipment.
Immediately notify appropriate personnel of quality problems/concerns identified through daily tasks.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 42 pounds.
The Team Member is frequently required to walk.
The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
The Team Member will work where the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Internal Requirements At Time Of Application:
You must not exceed more than 4 attendance points.
You must not have received a written warning within the last 3 months.
TM is not permitted to lateral bid for 6 months unless to a higher-level job.
Will be under a 2-week qualification period if supervisor disqualifies TM, then TM will return back to previous position.
TM has 2 weeks to notify HR from the date they physically start new position to disqualify themselves if so, they will return to previous position.
TM understand if they do self-disqualify to not continue in the awarded position, they will not be allowed to bid for 6 months.
Probationary team members must have completed 90 days before they can be considered.
