As a German-Speaking Travel Support Specialist, you will be the trusted voice guiding travelers through every step of their journey—before, during, and after their trips. If you love travel, problem-solving, and providing world-class customer service in a dynamic, international team, this role is for you!
What You Will Do
As the first point of contact for international travelers, you will deliver top-tier support via phone, email, and live chat.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Assisting travelers with flight, hotel, and package bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
- Resolving inquiries regarding refunds, payment clarifications, and billing.
- Managing travel-related issues and delivering effective service recovery with empathy and speed.
- Supporting travel partners and extranet accounts with listing and reservation queries.
- Responding to customer reviews and general destination inquiries.
- Handling interactions primarily in German, with English overflow (volume varies based on daily demand). English is also used for internal tools, systems, and team communication.
What We Are Looking For
- German: Fluent to native-level (C1 minimum) — strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English: B2+ proficiency (required for training, internal tools, and English-speaking overflow contacts).
- Customer-centric mindset with empathy, active listening, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, digital environment with multiple tools and screens.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts covering operational service hours (Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 00:00).
- EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit for Greece.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: €1,300 gross / month (14 salaries per year under Greek labor law).
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of monthly gross salary based on achievable KPIs.
- Meal Allowance: Up to €100 / month via Edenred Ticket Restaurant card.
