About the Role We are looking for a dedicated, dependable, and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our growing facility management team. In this role, you will be essential to keeping our clients' environments clean, safe, and welcoming. From office complexes and educational facilities to retail spaces, your day-to-day efforts directly impact the health, safety, and overall impression of the workplaces we service.

Whether working independently or alongside a supportive team, you will take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality janitorial services while following established industry standards and customized client checklists.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties

• Routine Daily Cleaning: Vacuum carpeted floors, sweep and mop tile or hard-surface flooring, dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and clean glass surfaces or entry doors.

• Restroom Maintenance & Sanitization: Clean, disinfect, and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, and mirrors. Restock essential paper products, soaps, and hand sanitizers throughout the facility.

• Trash & Waste Management: Empty all interior waste bins, recycling receptacles, and shredding containers; replace liners and safely dispose of trash in designated dumpster areas.

• Specialized Detail Work: Perform deep-cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis, including sanitizing high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, elevator buttons), wiping down kitchen appliances, and polishing fixtures.

• Equipment & Inventory Upkeep: Properly care for, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, auto-scrubbers). Report low inventory levels, missing supplies, or faulty machinery to leadership promptly.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to proper chemical dilution guidelines, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) protocols, and company safety standards at all times.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

• Reliability & Punctuality: A proven track record of dependability, punctual attendance, and consistency in fulfilling scheduled shifts.

• Meticulous Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness with the keen ability to follow written daily checklists and adhere to quality control benchmarks.

• Self-Motivation & Autonomy: Ability to stay focused, work efficiently without constant direct supervision, and manage time effectively across assignments.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and basic written communication skills to effectively log completed tasks, coordinate with team leaders, and raise site needs.

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push or pull heavy cleaning equipment, and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs throughout your active shift.
