Description
Our client is hiring a Licensed Industrial Electrician (midnight shift) to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a modern automotive manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
- Maintain PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Support automation and control systems
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety procedures (LOTO)
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams
- Complete maintenance documentation (CMMS experience an asset)
Requirements
- Licensed Industrial Electrician
- 5+ years in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, ABB, Siemens, or equivalent)
- Experience with VFDs, motors, and automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
- Automotive or stamping/blanking experience is an asset
