Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Roseville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directions, lost-property inquiries, and other guest-service needs while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
