This position is temporary for 10 months.
Key Responsibilities
The Launch Quality Group Leader is responsible for leading quality assurance activities during new product launches, ensuring flawless execution from prototype builds through Start of Regular Production (SORP). This role drives compliance with quality standards, PPAP requirements, and manufacturing readiness processes while coordinating cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and achieve launch quality targets.
The position requires strong expertise in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Methods, and structured Problem Solving. The Launch Quality Group Leader serves as a key liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Program Management, and Production Teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or experience.
Experience with ISO standards, BIQ, and GQRs.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Proficiency in Q-DAS or Minitab.
Knowledge of Power BI(desirable)
Strong teamwork, organizational, and administrative skills.
Advanced and fluent English proficiency.

Three or more years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel and Availability Requirements
Availability to travel less than 25% of the time, primarily for new machinery validation.
Travel assignments may last up to one month at a time.
A valid visa is preferred.
Availability to occasionally adjust shifts based on business or project needs.Willingness to support projects during weekends and holidays when required.Flexibility and openness to changing project requirements
