Description
Associate Visual Merchandising Manager role is to support VM manager to landing the VM plan in stores, include but not limited DTC, retail partner stores and pinnacle channel strategic stores. To work closely with store VM & city VM elevate consumer daily experience.
Support VM manager build clear VM guideline and in charge of store VM, city VM and WHS partner’s VM training program. To elevate execution competence.
40% VM Execution & Compliance Management
1. Oversee daily VM maintenance, routine store audits, visual benchmark reviews and on-site merchandising adjustments for all domestic flagship, core retail and partner wholesale stores. Continuously identify visual gaps and operational issues, deliver structured audit reports, corrective action plans, and ensure full implementation and closure of all rectifications.
2. Lead end-to-end visual execution for new store openings, store renovation and seasonal window transitions. Manage on-site merchandising deployment, field guidance and manpower arrangement to ensure all store visual deliverables are completed on time and aligned with brand seasonal guidelines.
3. Collect in-store visual feedback, consumer shopping experience insights and retail frontline merchandising demands. Optimize national display standards and execution workflows based on actual store business scenarios, driving better visual presentation and in-store conversion performance.
30% VM Project Execution & Visual Asset Management
1. Support the VM Manager in delivering key brand visual projects, including flagship store seasonal installations, artist crossover campaigns, thematic window storytelling and high-end in-store visual renovation projects.
2. Manage full-cycle allocation, deployment, inventory control and condition monitoring of seasonal window displays, in-store fixtures and campaign visuals. Standardize fixture assembly, maintenance and recycling procedures to optimize overall VM cost efficiency and asset utilization.
3. Execute brand campaign visuals and seasonal thematic rollouts across all retail touchpoints. Maintain consistent brand visual identity and in-store atmosphere to drive foot traffic and maximize campaign sales performance.
30% Team Talent Development & VM Training Framework
1. Establish and refine the end-to-end VM talent development system. Build clear competency frameworks for regional VM executives and in-store merchandising teams, develop talent pipeline planning, identify high-potential employees, and support long-term team succession planning.
2. Design and implement standardized VM training systems, including official training documentation and operational playbooks covering new product merchandising, window composition, spatial hierarchy, fixture discipline and project execution standards. Conduct regular on-site coaching, centralized training sessions and workshops to elevate overall team professional capabilities and execution quality.
