DayTimeThur10:30 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at an educational location.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
- Monitor access points, surveillance systems, alarms, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain a professional presence at the assigned post to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming educational environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
