Position Summary
Covenant Health’s Treasury Analyst I supports daily treasury operations, including cash management, banking, investment reporting, debt administration and treasury accounting. This position assists with reporting, transaction support, reconciliations, documentation and analysis to support liquidity, compliance and financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
General:
- Support treasury operations, internal controls, compliance activities, reporting, documentation and special projects.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, files and supporting documentation while handling confidential financial information appropriately.
- Identify routine process improvement opportunities and communicate issues or observations to Treasury leadership.
Cash Management:
- Support daily cash positioning, cash reporting, short-term forecasting and review of cash inflows, outflows and unusual activity.
- Prepare or assist with cash transfers, wire requests, check deposits, cash application support, funding documentation and related approvals.
- Provide operational support for mail distribution, petty cash, P-Card management, rebate tracking and analysis, clearing checks, bank activity documentation and other routine cash management processes.
Banking Operations:
- Maintain bank account records, signer documentation, service information, system access records and related treasury system administration.
- Support online banking, cash management services, investment custody platforms, deposit services, remote deposit, ACH and wire instruction verification and related banking tools.
- Coordinate with departments and banking partners to resolve routine inquiries, transaction issues, documentation requests, service changes and account reviews.
Investment Management:
- Prepare investment reports, compile performance data, maintain schedules and support management reporting, audits and compliance reviews.
- Record, review, reconcile and monitor investment activity in coordination with Accounting, investment advisors and other stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for investment balances, earnings, transfers, transactions and related reporting requirements.
Debt Management:
- Maintain debt schedules, amortization schedules, payment records, trustee statements, reporting deadlines and supporting documentation.
- Support debt service payment documentation, including scheduled principal and interest activity.
- Compile information for debt reporting, covenant compliance, refinancing, new debt issuance and related administration.
- Coordinate with Treasury leadership, Accounting, trustees and external advisors to support timely debt administration.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
