We are seeking an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking leader to join our US Market Access Enterprise Accounts team as Field Vice President (FVP), Market Access, Account Integration. In this highly visible leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping GSK’s ability to ensure patient access and deepen collaborations across complex and influential customer segments. You will be empowered to drive innovation, build strategic partnerships, and enable healthcare solutions that give our customers and patients more. About the Role
As FVP, Market Access, Strategic Accounts, you will report to the VP of Market Access Enterprise Accounts and lead engagement strategies that maximize GSK's portfolio opportunities. You will oversee relationships with key customer segments, including regional payers, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), medical, clinical, and infusion accounts, state Medicaid programs, large employers, and industry associations. Your strategic guidance will help us address local market complexities, customize solutions, and strengthen partnerships that improve patient access to critical medicines.
This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, influencing decision-making at the C-suite level, and driving impactful relationships across diverse stakeholders. You will take ownership of strategic account planning, financial goals, and collaborative engagement strategies, ensuring alignment across GSK’s portfolio while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As a leader in this role, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact and progress your career through the following responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Own the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans, outlining both short-term (12-24 months) and long-term (2+ years) engagement objectives.
- Ensure alignment across GSK’s portfolio, with a focus on driving access for strategic brands and achieving gross-to-net financial targets.
- Evaluate broader market trends and identify opportunities for deeper account engagement.
Customer Engagement:
- Cultivate and build influential relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives and leaders across customer organizations.
- Lead collaborative engagement strategies with regional payers, specialty contracting accounts (IDNs, medical, clinical, infusion), state Medicaid, large employers, and industry associations.
- Coordinate across internal GSK stakeholders to unlock the full value of GSK’s offerings and optimize customer engagement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Foster a coaching culture by demonstrating situational leadership and setting a tone of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
- Invest in building team and individual capabilities, attracting and developing a diverse talent pool, and preparing leaders for both current and future needs.
- Model GSK’s values and expectations, inspiring teams through transitions and change management while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Financial and Operational Accountability:
- Drive patient access targets and oversee gross-to-net financial outcomes within your strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with other Field Vice Presidents to align on trade-off decisions, resource allocation, and financial priorities across teams.
- Manage risks effectively while ensuring strategic alignment and delivering measurable business results.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 10+ years of experience and proven success in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- 5+ years of direct line management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Market Access and/or provider contracting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial acumen, including an understanding of gross profit, erosion, ASP, net cost recovery, and pricing impacts.
- Experience working in highly matrixed environments and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups with an enterprise mindset.
- Proven success in coaching, development, and promotion of high-performing teams and individuals.
