Your role:

• Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision
• Support bussing duties by transporting used dishware to the dishwashing area efficiently
• Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure sanitation standards are consistently met
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers and cleaning tools
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas to uphold health and safety standards.
• Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or crates with proper technique to prevent injury

What we're looking for:

• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards are advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the kitchen staff
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, and weekends or holidays as needed.
