We are seeking to hire a Finance internship position within the Operations Finance team in Largo, Florida. This role supports programs mainly within the Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) portfolio and potentially other Collins Aerospace businesses. In this position, the candidate will be exposed to and trained in many different corporate finance tools and resources such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes Oxley compliance utilizing SAP and other software tools and templates. The successful candidate will be a key member of the finance team (entry level) and will be responsible for performing weekly and monthly program cost and schedule analysis support to ensure successful execution of the program. The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a desire to learn and be challenged while working in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Operations & Program office functional teams to influence decisions to successfully execute production and depot contract
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly variance analysis, identifying key cost, schedule, and performance drivers
- Analyze program financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate insights to program leadership
- Preparation and Analysis of Quarterly EACs including variance analysis, risks, and opportunities
- Interface with multiple cross-functional teammates & internal customers at different locations and time zones

Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, and/or Economics and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
