Description
We have a busy single dentist general dentistry office and our main goal is helping our patients. Having an expanded function assistant will help us to care for our patients the best way possible in every individual situation.
Full-time/Part-time considered.
Duties include:

Duties include:
- Assisting: Typical dental assisting duties along with added Expanded Function responsibilities.
- Restorative Procedures: Placing and finishing direct restorations (mostly composites, a few occasional amalgams), making temporary crowns, taking impressions, and using an intraoral scanner.
- Radiography: Digital radiographs and CT images.
- Patient Care: Explaining dental treatments and treatment plans, post op instructions, and monitoring and ensuring patient comfort for the entire visit.
- Office Management: Maintaining a clean and organized operatory, sterilizing instruments, and managing dental records.
- Record Keeping: Accurately recording notes and coding appointment information using dental software (Dentrix).
- Communication: Communicating effectively with patients and other dental team members. A friendly, positive attitude with patients and teammates is a must.
Schedule: Monday: 8-5, Tuesday: 7-5, Wednesdays: closed, Thursday: 7-5, Friday: 7-1. We arrive 30 minutes before our first patients to set up and review schedules.
