Description
The VP, Client Supply Chain Solutions leads the development, execution, and expansion of the strategic account plan for the client, with specific responsibility for identifying, positioning, and selling Assurant's supply chain capabilities as a core value driver within the broader client relationship. This senior commercial leader serves as a trusted advisor, connecting client's business priorities with Assurant solutions across supply chain, device lifecycle, logistics, reverse logistics, repair, refurbishment, fulfillment, inventory management, and operational optimization.
This role is accountable for expanding the relationship beyond existing programs by shaping growth opportunities, influencing senior client stakeholders, and translating Assurant's operational capabilities into compelling commercial solutions. The successful candidate will improve client outcomes, support profitable revenue growth, and strengthen the long-term strategic partnership.
The VP will engage senior and mid-level client leaders across business, operations, supply chain, finance, product, and executive stakeholder groups, while leading direct and matrixed teams across Assurant. This role will be based on site at our Irving, Texas location.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Lead the creation and execution of the strategic account plan for the client, with a focus on expanding revenue, strengthening executive engagement, and identifying new opportunities to position Assurant supply chain capabilities.
- Build and cultivate senior-level relationships across the client business, operations, supply chain, finance, product, and executive stakeholder groups to understand priorities, anticipate needs, and position Assurant as a strategic partner.
- Identify, develop, and advance commercial opportunities related to device lifecycle management, logistics, reverse logistics, repair, refurbishment, fulfillment, inventory management, operational efficiency, and related value-added services.
- Translate client business objectives and operational challenges into compelling solution opportunities, partnering with internal supply chain, operations, product, finance, legal, pricing, and implementation teams to develop client-ready proposals and business cases.
- Lead cross-functional selling efforts for new supply chain solutions, clearly articulating client value, financial impact, service performance, scalability, and alignment with the client’s strategic priorities.
- Guide direct and matrixed teams in the development of annual business plans, client business reviews, growth roadmaps, and executive-level presentations that demonstrate performance, highlight operational value, and advance mutual revenue goals.
- Develop, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements, renewals, expansions, and amendments that support Assurant growth objectives and the client’s evolving supply chain and customer experience needs.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure sold solutions are executable, scalable, and aligned with contracted service expectations, while driving accountability for performance, service utilization, and client satisfaction.
- Lead the prioritization and coordination of client initiatives, including supply chain capability launches, operational enhancements, product or service expansions, and implementation of new client solutions.
- Anticipate and resolve client issues by engaging appropriate cross-functional leaders, driving operational process improvements, and ensuring supply chain performance supports the overall health and growth of the relationship.
- Monitor account financial performance, opportunity pipeline, margin considerations, contract economics, and mutual business outcomes to ensure growth opportunities are commercially sound and strategically aligned.
- Mentor account management leaders and cross-functional partners on strategic client engagement, executive communication, consultative selling, and positioning supply chain capabilities as part of an integrated client growth strategy.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- BS/BA degree; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of sales and/or marketing experience.
- 15+ years of experience interacting with large, complex mobile industry clients and developing strategic relationships.
- 7+ years of experience directly leading the work of others, including direct people leadership and supervision.
- Demonstrated industry experience and deep knowledge of mobile supply chain, device lifecycle, logistics, reverse logistics, repair, refurbishment, fulfillment, inventory management, or related services.
- Experience developing and executing long-term strategic plans spanning three or more years.
- Experience managing complex commercial opportunities, account financial performance, pricing, margin considerations, contract economics, and revenue growth.

Pay Range:
$170,800.00 - $285,000.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
