Job Description
The Data Architect will lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise data and analytics solutions across functions. This role is responsible for developing scalable Azure-based data platforms, integrating enterprise applications, enabling business reporting, and driving data modernization initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with solution architecture leadership and partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver trusted, scalable, and business-critical analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise data platforms using Azure technologies.
- Develop and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Databricks workloads, and cloud data integrations.
- Establish scalable data models and integration patterns.
- Drive data quality, governance, security, and operational excellence.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical solution design activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and governance.
- Enable integration strategies for Salesforce, SAP and Workday
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture, Platform Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with Azure cloud data technologies.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale integration projects.
- Strong experience working with multiple business functions including HR, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Experience managing solution lifecycle from requirements gathering through production support.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience leading technical discussions with architects, engineers, and business leaders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on execution.
Technical Skills:
Azure Ecosystem: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL
Data Engineering: SQL, Python, ETL development, Data Warehousing
Preferred: Experience with Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Planning
