Description

Description

Position Overview

As SVP, Capital Markets, you will lead the strategy and execution that converts Vibrant’s loan production into liquidity, gain-on-sale income, and balance-sheet flexibility. You will integrate loan sales, pricing, hedging, investor relationships, subservicing, and servicing monetization as one connected capital-markets discipline. In partnership with Finance, Lending, and MALCO, you will establish a disciplined execution cadence and provide senior leadership for the function. Balance-sheet strategy and material risk decisions will be developed in close partnership with and remain subject to the oversight and approval of the CFO.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the capital-markets portfolio across loan sales, pricing, hedging, investor relationships, subservicing, and servicing monetization, with balance-sheet and material risk decisions made in partnership with and subject to approval by the CFO.
  • Develop and recommend the whole-loan and participation sales strategy across all lending programs in coordination with enterprise priorities and obtain CFO approval for strategies with material balance-sheet, liquidity, or risk implications.
  • Govern the loan-sale calendar and maintain a consistent execution cadence rather than relying on opportunistic transactions.
  • Ensure loan-level data, documentation, and operational readiness support timely and accurate sale execution.
  • Develop program-level pricing and yield recommendations with MALCO and the CFO, connecting production decisions to earnings and balance-sheet outcomes within approved parameters.
  • Develop and oversee hedging strategy and coverage within approved risk parameters, and explain positions, exposures, and tradeoffs through the MALCO and ALCO processes, with material changes subject to CFO approval.
  • Build a diversified investor, broker, and counterparty network that strengthens market access and negotiating leverage.
  • Negotiate forward-flow agreements and master purchase or participation agreements within approved risk and return parameters.
  • Lead the investor subservicing strategy for sold loans in partnership with the operational servicing function.
  • Develop servicing-fee income, retained-servicing strategy, and mortgage servicing rights value as components of portfolio economics.
  • Support the CFO and Finance in evaluating balance-sheet strategy, liquidity options, and the impact of capital-markets activity on earnings by providing analysis, recommendations, and execution support within approved parameters.
  • Deliver accurate reporting to ALCO, MALCO, and the Board on sale volume, pricing trends, counterparty mix, and balance-sheet impact.
  • Allocate priorities and develop the capital-markets team as sale and hedging volume, complexity, and strategic scope grow.

What Success Looks Like

  • A dependable loan-sale cadence is established across lending programs, with transactions prepared and executed according to the approved calendar.
  • Hedge coverage and pricing recommendations are integrated with production and balance-sheet strategy, with material decisions reviewed and approved through the CFO and established governance channels.
  • The investor and counterparty base is diversified enough to reduce dependency and improve Vibrant’s negotiating position.
  • Capital-markets reporting gives ALCO, MALCO, and the Board a clear view of pricing, sale activity, counterparties, and balance-sheet impact.
  • Servicing and subservicing economics are incorporated into capital-markets decisions and produce a defined monetization strategy.
