We are seeking a Product Manager to lead a portfolio of Commercial and Military Supplier Designed Equipment (SDE) electronics products. This role owns the product family’s lifecycle end-to-end — from development and production through long-term performance in the field. You will drive strategy, financial outcomes, customer satisfaction, and competitiveness while ensuring the product line reliably delivers on cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will have strong communication skills and comfort interfacing directly with customer and senior leadership and demonstrate the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

What You Will Do

Product Lifecycle Ownership

  • Lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the full product lifecycle, encompassing development, production, sustainment, field performance, and end‑of‑life management.

  • Ensure readiness for future production capacity and lifecycle cost targets.

Financial Accountability

  • Own pricing strategy and profitability outcomes for the product line.

  • Oversee and prioritize funding for continuous improvement initiatives (yield, reliability, cost improvements).

Customer & Stakeholder Interface

  • Serve as the primary accountable customer interface for the product family.

  • Determine production output allocation across competing customer orders.

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own development and execution of the new product and technology roadmap.

Travel 10-20% as business requires.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

  • U.S. Person - Job requires access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware (directly or indirectly) and the company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

  • Program or product management experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with program management systems including manpower planning, program scheduling, cost controls and earned value management

  • Experience in operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight

  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and technical requirements

  • Knowledge of aerospace contracts

  • Experience with proposal preparation and customer negotiations preparation

  • Knowledge of aerospace policies, procedures and system requirements including quality, manufacturing and program management

  • Applied theory level knowledge of the management system.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
