Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting security-related activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing individuals, vehicles, and deliveries, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
